Design Studio
The Meinig School Design Studio is where design teams gather to brainstorm ideas and map out their projects.
In keeping with our mission to provide a “real world” engineering design experience, we teach our students to brainstorm early and often during the initial stages of the design process. In support of this goal, the design studio functions as our “company headquarters” where the students can gather as design teams to brainstorm ideas and map out their projects.
The design studio is 1300sq feet with multiple spaces/environments as well as technological support for meeting, ideating, brainstorming, collaborating, studying, and unwinding. The studio is equipped with 6 conference cubicles for group meetings where students can connect HDMI televisions to their laptops and efficiently collaborate and create digital documents and designs in a group setting.
